blended diet 01/07/2013 start

traviss diet now consists of 4 pump feeds of 220ml per feed = 880ml = 668 calories 
plus meds , flushes & water = 400ml fluids = 1280ml fluids total 
each feed is over an hour .
im hoping the blended diet will help him with all aspects , like reflux , energy , movement .
im starting slowly with just bits of foods added gradually until i can find a dietician to help us work out what fats , fibre , carbs , etc he needs on a full blended diet .
at the moment we dont have a dietician at all as the nhs ones keep leaving .
travis now weighs 13.1kgs

we are now waiting for a referral to sheffield hospital as travis has been assessed for botox in all 4 limbs to try relax his tight muscles .

we have have another hospital visit last week due to tonsilitus and chest infection .
nursery pictures to follow aswell , they have built a whole sensory den/area in the nursery for travis and the other children.
travis will be starting castle hill school for 2 full days in september pics to follow.
plus we are going on holiday this month to ruddi retreat caravan in filey , us 3 with our friends jenny with daisy traviss friend and her bro tom , looking forward to the break away , travis loves the outdoors and the sea air .
